It’s a start!
Today has been one of those days when I was enveloped by an avalanche of learning! I subscribe to a few great tech ed blogs and one of them lead me on a journey of learning today. I was reading Cool Cat Teacher by Vicki Davis. She put up a post called “Teaching and Learning through some Amazing Connecting Websites”. I found out about Visuwords and Voicethread from this post and other linked to it. All this is related to the new notion of Web 2.0 and how we can begin to use it in our classrooms. I think visuwords is something all our faculty can use with students. It’s a wonderful visual representation of how we REALLY use language and interact with it. Voicethread is easy and oh so useable to the general public. My mind is spinning! There’s so much out there to learn and experience! How do I teach my student to access it and put it to use themselves? How can I make it relate to my cirriculum?
