Program Stress
Another year full of 3 different Christmas Concerts is pulling up fast. Every year I tell myself not to get stressed and every year I stress any way. I remember in my first 3 years of teaching it seemed like I had time to cover EVERY aspect of the upcoming program with my elementary kids. And I mean everything from how we walk on to where your hands go. These last few years it seems like I’m always forgetting some of the key points. Where did all that time go? Dear God I hope that the reason I’m short on time is that I’m teaching more “stuff” to my students. Otherwise I’m just becoming more disorganized the longer I teach. Maybe you’ll find me sitting at my desk in the middle of a stack of to-do notes in 15 more years……..I’ll be under the one about telling the janitors how to set up the chairs. See you in January when I can be sane again.
